Available at world.xyz and inside Phantom on iOS, Android, and desktop. Chainlink named as the primary oracle infrastructure. Phantom quote-posted the reveal. Chainlink posted that World was live for crypto and World Cup outcomes, with expansions to macro, elections, and additional sports in the pipeline.
How it works, as reported at launch
The product is non-custodial. Funds move only when a user enters a market. Positions, settlement, and redemption happen onchain. Winning positions redeem automatically in CASH no manual claim queue, no waiting period. Chainlink Data Streams and the Chainlink Runtime Environment were described as the data and resolution stack. Phantom was called the first of several frontend distribution partnerships planned for July.

Pedro Miranda, Solana Foundation Head of Consumer, said prediction markets are one of the strongest applications for a high-performance chain, and that World is meant to demonstrate real-time markets, onchain settlement, and wallet-native UX.

No confirmed official token launched alongside the product. No team was publicly identified. The launch was a product, not a fundraise.
