UFC live, Hyperliquid support, and a mindshare study
Three things happened in the same week, and together they paint the clearest picture of World's expansion strategy.
UFC 330
On 13 August, @world_xyz posted that UFC 330 was live on World. "Real world events on solana." This was the first confirmed combat sports market on the platform, following the World Cup and crypto launch categories. UFC sits in the sports expansion timeline that World had promised since launch.
Hyperliquid support
The same day, World posted that it was formally supporting Hyperliquid, calling it "the chain for all of finance." This is notable because the account bio still read "the solana prediction market," and later posts continued to reference Solana, Phantom, and football on Solana. Present this as multi-venue distribution talk, not a confirmed full migration off Solana. World appears to be building on multiple chains simultaneously, not abandoning one for another.
Mindshare study
On 14 August, Cookie3/CookiePro published an attention study that quantified something the timeline already felt: World had outsized social reach relative to its product maturity. A single globe post from 23 June before the official launch generated roughly 3.15 million impressions. In the weeks around the 1 July launch, World took a disproportionate share of tracked prediction-market social signal, including a reported 32.41% daily mindshare on launch day. Chainlink was measured as the largest outside KOL contributor to World's launch reach.
The attention numbers do not directly translate to trading volume or user count. But they confirm that World's cryptic marketing strategy generated measurable audience capture that most crypto launches do not achieve.
